Pretty but top is cheaply made

I love the tables except for the top. They were very easy to assemble but, not what I thought they would be. The top is some type of a cheap looking faux wood. I tried adding a plexie glass on top to prevent damage but it still doesn' look right. I would not recommend. I wish I could return.
